Sin Rap Explode

SIN Rap Explode is a young bitch showing great potential as a stayer.

The daughter of Flying Ricciardo-Sin Rap Boom by My Bro Fabio has already broken the distance record at Richmond and is a multiple Wenty winner over 700m.

It took her a while to show her best and it wasn't until she got to distance racing that she did. The influence of My Bro Fabio, a sire of very stout offspring, as her damsire is evident in her ability to get distance.

Sin Rap Explode's first run at 700m resulted in her Richmond record for owner-trainer Shaun Parnis out at Dapto.

But, it is her pedigree that interests us most and let's have a strong look at what makes her such an exciting young staying bitch.

First, there is MUCH line breeding.

She carries a 4x4 of the litter brothers Hallucinate and Where's Pedro both of them through daughters. The Barcia Bale/My Bro Fabio cross is found, of course, is legend Wow She's Fast.

Next, she brings in a 5x4 duplication and balance of Bombastic Shiraz and this is proving more and more a cross to be greatly desired. Many of Tommy Shelby's best progeny to date are bred on this double and balance.

There is also a very strong 5x5 of the famous half brothers Brett Lee and Big Daddy Cool in the pedigree of Sin Rap Explode. This makes Megalodon (dam of Flying Ricciardo) and Spring Gun (sire of Muddy Miss the 2nd dam of Sin Rap Explode) bred on an identical cross.

Which now brings us to Sin Rap Boom the dam of Sin Rap Explode. She won five races at Nowra, Bulli and Devonport and was placed to 600m.

I absolutely love the pedigree of Sin Rap Boom because she is in-bred to Golden Currency and Honcho Classic and they both trace to that most famous of broodbitches Val Matese (Temlee-Dark Debutante).

That great race bitch and champion producer, Born Ali (G1 WA Galaxy, dam of Million Dollar Chase champ McInerney), is also intensely in-bred to this famous family.

Born Ali's litter to My Bro Fabio produced Group stars like Sweet As Emm, Grace Ali and my own Rasheda.

Sin Rap Explode's 2nd dam, Muddy Miss (Spring Gun-Field Pie by Droopys Scolari) was a prolific winner of 16 races and was placed 28 times. While primarily a 400m bitch, she was still placed to 520m.

Which brings us to Field Pie (Droopys Scolari-Tyrur Danielle by Honcho Classic) a bitch imported from Ireland to Australia where she won one race at Bulli.

Field Pie had a couple of litters but Muddy Miss was her best.

BUT, this is the direct female line of a bitch called Pinhead (6th dam of Sin Rap Explode). Pinhead, despite her rather disparaging name, is one of the true greats of Irish greyhound bloodlines.

There are so many greats from Pinhead herself and then her daughters they are far too many to list here, suffice to say she is a legend.

And, Pinhead traces directly along her direct damline to the hall of fame producer Skipping Chick.
